I found a flea on Motu and of course this sent me into a tizzy.
Because if Motu gets fleas then the stupid kitties will get fleas and well, it would be ugly.
So Even though I went over Motu with a flea comb and found nothing this doesn't really mean anything because Motu loves to play with homeless peoples' dogs in the park. Don't ask me why you would have a dog if you don't have a home...Needless to say your dog having fleas is not your main concern.
So the other night Jon is like, "kristen come here quick." He is easily skeeved by bugs so I assume he saw something. I go over and Jon gingerly rolls motu over to show me this black thing embedded in Motu's skin.
I laughed and walked away, Dr. Jon had discovered Motu's nipples.
Ha ha.

Air America hits San Francisco
I am so happy to have air america here, finally!
It is on 960 am here. I missed my liberal rhetoric.
it is strange because the lineup is a little different.
Can you believe how amazing Bill Clinton looks? I can't imagine many women who wouldn't give him a BJ now.
Yesterday I was setting up this room divider screen that jon and I had bought in Japantown. When I went to open it up there was all this dust in it. I thought "that is strange, " I took it outside and that was when the realization hit that those were termite tracks and those enourmous black moving things were Singaporian termites.
So I had to take the F'n thing on the bus and get it back to the store and exchange it.
Motu has been making this strange snorting noise. Like the noise he would make if he had swallowed some water or something. He is also sneezing. Maybe he has a cold or ragweed alergies. Do they have ragweed in California?

Flowers for Algernon
I just finished reading Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes, published 1966. After appearing in a magazine in 1960
This is one of thoes books I never read in high school. What a super story.
Keyes is a great writer and the premise of the book seems so fresh and novel.
It made me what to re-read some Plato. And that, my friends, is saying something...

La Vida Loca
yesterday I was walking down haight St. And I heard the above song blasting from someone's stereo. I was looking around to see if the person was being ironic or an ass.
Then, as if in a movie, A large truck moved as the light changed, and there was this crazy homeless guy dancing to his boombox. He was spinning and laughing, truely enjoying his vida loca. It gave whole new meaning to the song...
