My husband is Asian and he has really bad hair. It sticks straight up. I have awful curly hair, so not surprisingly our kid has pretty messed up hair. That's probably not even relevant. I do, however, have to say that I like the longer hair better. I get the whole "refugee" thing, but I think it also looks a little more unique. And also less Jenny Shimuzu-like. And of course, coming from NC, it actually looks hip to me. But then, North Carolina . . . .
